Starting in 2014 cloudflare.com started offering a service to provide free website security for qualifying groups and organizations working in the public interest. Groups that engage in political activites, controversial artistic expression, ect. can apply for free security protection against cyber attacks.

I think this is a wonderful service that is desperately needed by many people. These types of groups have a hard enough time dealing with issues in the world without having to worry about what could be done to them in the virtual world.
