I am not planning to make a comic book or storyboard anytime soon but if I were then this web service is probably what I would use to make it.

This isn't open source like my usual steemhunts. However, this looks like a great service and the terms of service for business use states that the user retains:

"...ownership of all original text, storylines, character
personalities, and other original content you provide
on or through Pixton (collectively, "Your Content"), and
all intellectual property rights in Your Content...."

so you aren't signing your creativity over to Pixton outright by using the service.

I really like how it allows anybody with an idea but little artistic skill to express their idea in art.
