Pandorabots is an open standards platform for creating and launching chatbots. These chatbots can be used by businessess to help assist customers or by websites to entertain visitors.

This is something I want to learn more about. An example chatbot on the site is Mitsuku and the chatbot seemed to perform well in human conversation when I tried it.
