EarthCoin is a scrypt-mined Proof-of-Work cryptocurrency. The philosophy behind this crypto is advancing freedom and environmental sustainability through pure trade.

I used to mine this cryptocurrency because it was easy to trade EAC on Cryptsy for other cryptocurrencies I wanted that were harder to mine. Then Cryptsy went bankrupt and I virtually forgot about EarthCoin until recently.
