3D Printed DNA Double Helix Model

A few months ago I 3D printed a double helix DNA model. I've recently reprinted the same model by Thingiverse user Hello18 but with two main differences: I used black PLA filament rather than red and I doubled the infill density from 20% to 40%.

I suppose the two DNA models which I printed aren't "clones". Even if both were red I would still be able to feel the slight weight difference between the 20% infill and 40% infill.
One final difference between the two models that isn't obvious by sight alone is the printing temperature that was used. Both PLA filaments are from the same manufacturer (Hatchbox) but with the black filament I found that increasing the bed temperature 10 degrees Celsius worked better.

It still amazes me how well this design prints without any supports.
