I think I've noticed the USB port on my router before. It's been awhile since I've looked back there. I guess I shrugged and assumed it was for diagnostic tools or some fancy equipment I couldn't afford or probably didn't even need. After watching this video I've learned that USB port is actually really useful. The media server and automatic backup options are possible things I might try.
