What was the most painful and cruel death in the history of human life?
There have been so many. The one that really sticks out in my mind is the case of Giles Corey. Giles Corey was accused during the Salem witch trials but refused to plead guilty or not guilty. In order to try to get a plea from Giles Corey he was stripped naked with a heavy board laid on top of his body. Large rocks were put on the plank of wood. For three days Giles Corey remained under the plank of wood slowly being crushed to death and during that whole time Giles Corey refused to make a plea to the charges of witchcraft and being a wizard.
