Computers do have limitations. When it comes to computer function there are decision problems that theoretically limit computers. The first known decision problem for computers was described by Alan Turing as "The Halting Problem". The basic idea is that when given a description of a computer program and an input it cannot be determined whether the computer program will finish running ("halting") or if the program will continue to run forever trying to determine an output.
