If you are a wizard when it comes to things like chemistry and have a passion for alternative energy then this might be the software you've been looking for.

OpenFCST is a software platform for modeling possible fuel cell designs. It is an open source development toolbox which can simulate flow models, heat and charge transfers.

I like it when technology such as this that has the potential to change the world is open sourced. It levels the playing field for research and development and encourages collaboration on different approaches to find solutions.
