NFC (Near-field communication) is a feature on most modern smartphones that isn't experimented with enough by hobbyists. The NFC tags are cheap and this android app allows easy reading and writing for most NFC tags. Plus, this app can be used to password protect an NFC tag so data can be securely stored.
