Monoprice MP Select Mini 3D Printer

I've been doing some research and I think this might be the best 3D printer to get for my needs as a beginner. Because of my budget it will be a little while before I can afford to get something like this. The upside of that is I have time to prepare and learn more before I start. Any feedback from more experienced 3D printer users would be appreciated.

I am not planning to start with large prints so the 120 mm x 120 mm x 120 mm build area should be sufficient for making custom enclosures for Arduino and Raspberry Pi projects as well as for 3D printing some tools and basic parts. It also seems to be able to use several different kinds of filament material. It's also not too large and I would have the room for it.

I plan to have it in my bedroom. Opening both windows should be enough ventilation I believe. Since I have recently moved into an apartment noise level is a factor. From what I have read on a reddit owners discussion this printer shouldn't be too loud and I could put a cover over it to further dampen any excessive sound.

I am probably going to use Cara as the slicer software. There seems to be a lot of documentation and tutorials on-line for that. Cura should work with this printer according to the product's webpage.
