Hede.io Entry: Hologram

A hologram is a three-dimensional image that is projected and captured on a two-dimensional surface. Three-dimensional holographic images are formed by the interference pattern of light from a laser or other coherent light source. Holograms were invented by the Hungarian-British physicist Dennis Gabor in 1947. Gabor was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1971 "for his invention and development of the holographic method".
