Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

It's St. Patrick's day today. I wonder if ChatGPT is celebrating today.

Well, if it wants to provide information let's ask ChatGPT to generate some jokes for today:

  1. Why do leprechauns laugh when they run? Because the grass tickles their feet!
  2. Why did the leprechaun refuse to give away his pot of gold? Because he was a little bit green with envy!
  3. What do you get when you cross a shamrock and a dinosaur? A stegoshamrock!
  4. Why did the Irishman wear two jackets on St. Patrick's Day? Because he was expecting a cold front!
  5. Why do people wear shamrocks on St. Patrick's Day? Because real rocks are too heavy!
  6. How do you catch a leprechaun? You have to be very sneaky, and very lucky!
  7. What do you call an Irishman who knows how to control his temper? A ginger snap!
  8. What do you call a leprechaun who gets into trouble? A little green mischief-maker!
  9. Why don't leprechauns like basketball? Because they always get sham-rocked!
  10. What do you call an Irishman who's always talking but never listens? A blarney stone!

The jokes are kind of meh in my opinion. I am actually surprised three Irishman jokes were generated considering how I have to use DAN mode for prompts that aren't even that bad.

Here is a human telling jokes in a video from the WhatTravisSays YouTube channel. He tells one of the jokes that ChatGPT also generated. Except for the "leprechaun falling in a river" joke the jokes aren't as bad as what ChatGPT generated.

With all the musicians and artists worrying about artificial intelligence replacing them I guess the talent for humor is still safe.
