As the old song goes, "The future of 3D printing is so bright, you gotta print your own shades.". Something along those lines. Anyway, this open source project site allows users to customize their own eyeware frames and create files for 3D printers to make the frames. Just print the parts and assemble the frame along with whatever replacement lenses you want to go with your custom design.
The selections in the site's editor such as shape and bridge dimension are limited but if further customization is needed the .obj template from the site can be tweaked using 3D modeling software such as Blender.
I am thinking of adding red and blue plastic filters to my design to make what I call "evil genius" anaglyph 3D glasses.
