Stephen Hawking passed away in 2018. A very inspirational scientist and celebrity. I don't think identifying Stephen Hawking as a "celebrity" trivializes him or his work. Isaac Arthur expressed his opinion about how important it is to communicate scientific concepts and Hawking helped to popularize some important scientific concepts. Hawking has an impressive IMDB page. Nothing wrong with that.

Isaac Arthur mentioned in the tribute video that he talked about using black holes to convert waste heat back into useable energy in one of the previous videos. I am going to find that and listen to it. That's interesting.
